Theology Course Requirements
To complete a major in Theology, 120 within Core academic credits are required which include:
- A person majoring in Theology must have completed the requirements of the core curriculum or its equivalent (53 credit hours).
- 36 credit hours of required and elective upper level courses in theological disciplines are included in the curriculum for a Bachelor's degree in Theology.
- Required in addition to these are 31 hours of elective courses chosen from other academic disciplines or from elective courses within the theology curriculum.

THEO 240 Theological Anthropology
THEO 241 The Church
THEO 250 Intro to Moral Theology
THEO 310 Old Testament
THEO 311 New Testament
THEO 330 Sacraments
THEO 340 Christ and The Trinity
THEO 351 Catholic Social Teaching
THEO 494 Research Methods and Writing Project
Required options, Choose 1 from each pair:
THEO 321 or THEO 420 American Church History or Vatican II
THEO 442 or THEO 470 Women in the Church or Christian Spirituality
THEO 260 or THEO 430 World Religions or Eucharist
Major Total: 36 Credit Hours
