Applications are still being accepted for Fall 2010.  Our Fall 2011 Application will be available August 1.

As an incoming freshman, we'd like to get to know you.  Below are the items we will need to determine if you are a good fit for Holy Cross College:

  • An Application. Our application will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Note: after completing the first page, you will receive an automated e-mail with a PIN and log-in information. If you need to stop and return to your application at a later time, use the log-in information provided in that e-mail. Once you review and submit your application, you will no longer be able to log into your form.
  • An essay. Please explain why Holy Cross College will be a good fit for you. Also, if you are interested in being considered for scholarship opportunities, include in your essay information on your leadership and/or community service activities. You may e-mail your essay to us at admissions@hcc-nd.edu or complete our on-line Essay Form.
  • An official high school transcript.
  • Official copies of test scores. We accept ACT or SAT scores.
  • If you wish consideration of unique circumstances, you are encouraged to include a separate statement detailing your situation, including relevant information.

Other Information:

Applicants are highly encouraged to apply by March 1 for admission to allow ample time for evaluation, scholarship and housing consideration.

Admission Visits

An admission visit is not required, but is highly recommended either before or after the admission decision. Visiting the campus and meeting with an admission counselor is the best way to finalize college choices. Admission visits can be scheduled for any weekday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. EST throughout the year. Tours of Holy Cross College are available on Saturday mornings of Notre Dame football home games in the fall and upon request in the spring.

In addition to meeting with an admission counselor, prospective students, applicants and parents may wish to request one or more of the following:

  • Campus tour of academic, residence and athletic facilities
  • Class visit with a student
  • Financial Aid meeting
  • Meeting with a faculty member
  • Complimentary meal in our dining room

Because our residence halls are currently at full capacity, we are unable to arrange on-campus overnight stays for prospective students.
