Financing Your Holy Cross College Education

Welcome to the Holy Cross College Office of Financial Aid!

Did you know that Holy Cross College is one of America's most affordable four-year private schools and one of its best values?

According to the College Board, the 2011-2012 national average annual tuition rate for four-year private colleges and universities was $28,500.  By comparison, our tuition rate for 2012-2013 is only $22,700 and the national average for room and board is $10,089, whereas the average room and board charges at Holy Cross College are $8,400. We can also make Holy Cross even more affordable through our generous need-based and merit-based financial aid and scholarship programs.   About 90% of our students receive some form of financial aid.

Additionally, we are pleased to announce the continuation of our Four-Year Tuition-Rate Lock program.  This means that new students entering Holy Cross this coming Fall will lock in the 2012-2013 tuition rate ($22,700) for four years of continuous attendance!  In other words, you will not be subjected to unpredictable yearly tuition rate increases common at most colleges and universities.  Imagine the savings!  Click here to read more about the Four-Year Tuition-Rate Lock Program.

Indiana residents who qualify for need-based State of Indiana grants will find Holy Cross as affordable as nearly any other option. Out-of-state residents will find our tuition lower than many public schools that are outside their home state.

The Net Price Calculator is available to help you get a quick estimate of your out-of-pocket costs if you attend. This calculator is designed to provide an estimate if your financial aid. Results are based on 2012-2013 Cost of Attendance figures and student aid eligibility requirements. You must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to receive an official financial aid package.

We realize that the current recession has created many financial challenges for new and continuing students and their families.  The Office of Financial Aid stands ready to assist in making Holy Cross College an affordable option for you.   If you have questions or need personal assistance with any aspect of the financial aid process, please contact Robert Benjamin, Director of Financial Aid.

Remember, Indiana residents must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March, 10th (receive by date) in order to be considered for State of Indiana funded grants!
