Patricia Falvey Joins Board of Directors for the Association of Fundraising Professionals
Patricia Falvey, Vice President of Advancement for Holy Cross College, has joined the board of directors for the Michiana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She will actively support the mission of the organization, whose initiatives include promoting philanthropy, educating professionals in fundraising, and increasing awareness and availability of philanthropic resources in the community. Falvey is also actively involved in the Military Officers Association of America and Rotary International, both of South Bend. She is also a council member of Sacred Heart Parish, a member of the fundraising advisory committee for the Near Northwest Neighborhood, and a past graduate of the Leadership Program of the Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County.
AFP hosts monthly meetings on best practices and strategies for professionals in fundraising. Upcoming meetings will cover topics that include Keys to Fundraising Success, Redefining Fundraising Success Through Analytics, and Marketing Planned Giving.
