Fall Lecture to Focus on the Spiritual Journey of Undocumented Migrants


Father Daniel G. Groody, C.S.C., Ph.D., has lived in Latin America and studied Hispanic theology, spirituality and conversion. He will give this year’s Holy Cross College Fall Lecture.

Father Groody has traveled the world speaking about Hispanic spirituality, immigration and related topics, but he will be right at home in Notre Dame, Indiana this Thursday.
Father Groody is an Assistant Professor of Theology and is a director at the Institute for Latino Studies at the University of Notre Dame, also the institution where he earned his bachelor’s degree.
This Thursday, October 5, he will lecture at Holy Cross College on “Promised Land — Devil’s Highway: The Spiritual Journey of Undocumented Migrants.” This event will take place in the College’s Driscoll Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
