Do I need an iPod to listen to podcasts?
No. You do not need an iPod or any other portable music player. The MP3 player software that's probably already on your computer is all you need. Some choose to transfer the podcast episodes to portable players so they can be listened to away from a computer.
How do I subscribe to the Holy Cross College Podcast?
Subscribing to the HCC Podcast is easy! All you need to do is open your podcast receiving software and enter a new feed to listen to. Enter the feed address for the HCC Podcast, which is:

What software do I need?
There are many different free "podcatcher" programs that can be used to subscribe and listen to podcasts. Here is a link full of solutions. The most widely used programs are iTunes, My Yahoo!, and Juice (formerly iPodder).
Do I need to subscribe to the podcast to listen to the audio clips?
No. If you wish, you may download individual audio clips as you would any other file from the internet. Click on the "Episode List" link on the left and you'll be presented with a list of all available clips. Find one that you would like to listen to, right click on it, and select "Save Target As" or "Download". Open this downloaded file to listen to the clip.
