What's in store with your new marketing director

NOTRE DAME, IN (October 4, 2012) -  Holy Cross College is pleased to announce that Jeff Penney has been named as its new Director of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations.

Coming to Holy Cross College from the consumer products industry, Jeff brings over 15 years of experience as a Director of Marketing.  He worked for such Fortune 500 companies as Fisher-Price and Vtech, where his responsibilities included public relations and advertising for such iconic brands as Disney, Sesame Street, and Nickelodeon. 

Throughout his professional career, Jeff's  passion for building brands and clear messaging will serve him well as we build a better Holy Cross College.  

Jeff also serves as Holy Cross College's head coach for men's lacrosse.

"We evaluated a lot of applicants for this very important position and we are very happy to have someone of the caliber of Jeff Penney to help continue to drive the college to the next level", said Holy Cross College's Vice President for Mission Advancement, Robert Kloska.  He adds, "I am confident that Jeff will prove invaluable to our team.  We feel that he will be a great fit and that his knowledge and past job experience of successful marketing and advertising will benefit the college tremendously.  We are very excited and fortunate to have Jeff Penney on board."

Penney stated, "I am pleased and excited to become the Director of Marketing, Communication and Public Relations of Holy Cross College and I hope that my background and experience will enable me to contribute to furthering the exciting mission of the College."

Jeff Penney is a graduate of Ripon College in Ripon Wisconsin.  He holds bachelor of arts degrees in history and political science.  Jeff and his wife of over 20 years, Erin, have three children.  They are big fans of youth sports and exploring the world around them.
