The submission deadline for student abstracts is Friday, February 1, 2013.
The Undergraduate Research Conference for the Social Sciences will be an annual event organized by students, aimed to showcase the excellent research taking place in the Michiana area. Holy Cross senior and conference organizer, Faythe Aiken, stated, "Having an opportunity to present research in a professional and a collegial format is a great resource for undergraduates interested in a career in research. I am personally excited to see what sort of research is going on here in South Bend."
The conference committee seeks undergraduate student papers and presentations that highlight the research being conducted in area colleges and universities.
For consideration, please submit a one-page abstract or description of the project and separate biographical information that includes the institution name, academic adviser name, academic year, and contact information.
