Business Meets Sports at Holy Cross College
NOTRE DAME, IN (March 20, 2014) — A rising star in the South Bend community brings his success story to Holy Cross College Wednesday, March 26th. Andrew T. Berlin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Berlin Packaging and owner of the South Bend Silver Hawks shares his path to success with students and community visitors during his visit to campus. Mr. Berlin will be speaking as part of the College’s Practical Lessons in Success lecture series.

Aggressive leadership and pioneering concepts have resulted in sales approaching $800-million. Berlin holds a special place in the South Bend community. As owner of the South Bend Silver Hawks Single A baseball team, he and his management team impact the lives of thousands of Michiana families. Attendance at the games has increased more than 110% since the 2011 season. For the 2013 season, more than 245,000 fans visited Four Winds Field, the 2nd highest attendance in history.
Successful leadership truly breeds success. Joe Hart, Silver Hawks’ Team President, has been selected as the St. Joseph County Chamber of Commerce 2014 Outstanding Young Business Leader. Members of the Michiana community are welcome to attend the Practical Lessons in Success presentation and share in Berlin’s community and business success. Berlin visits the Holy Cross College campus Wednesday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m. The event takes place in the Driscoll Auditorium, followed by a social reception.
