Robert Kloska is Promoted to Vice President
Holy Cross College announces the promotion of Robert Kloska from Director of Campus Ministry to Vice President of Mission Advancement. He takes the reins of the Mission Advancement team at the College, a newly created office formed to champion growth through admissions, marketing, and development.
Bob joined the College in 1997 as a faculty member in philosophy and religious studies, and subsequently founded the Office of Campus Ministry and the first Holy Cross international experience program, both of which are now integral components of the College. Kloska was awarded the Outstanding Service Award on his ten-year anniversary at Holy Cross.
As Vice President, Kloska manages eleven people from three departments—Marketing, Admissions, and Development. “I am very excited by this new position, primarily because I love our mission. We have so much potential to serve the people of Michiana with all our four-year Bachelor of Arts programs, but we are less well known than our neighbors, St. Mary’s and Notre Dame. Our former students are community, business, military and faith leaders, educators and are currently (or formerly) graduate students in many prestigious institutions including Harvard, Cornell and Dartmouth. At Holy Cross, every student is known by name. We need to spread the word about how affordable and accessible we are!”
A three time cancer survivor, Robert Kloska is a native of Elkhart, IN and is a graduate of Marian High School, the University of Notre Dame (BA in Accounting), and Franciscan University of Steubenville (MA in Philosophy). He is married to Margaret Kloska (nee Tonneman, of Columbus, Ohio) and they have five children, three of whom attend St. Matthew Cathedral School.
