Women's Basketball Coach
Holy Cross College is seeking applications for a part-time position of Head Women's Basketball Coach. The initial task would be the establishment of the Women’s Basketball program for varsity competition in the 2009-2010 academic year. Additional responsibilities include the organization and leadership, both administrative and technical, of all women’s basketball team matters, including, but not limited to:
- Instructing/coaching athletes
- Conducting practices
- Scheduling games
- Arranging team transportation
- Managing a team budget
- Maintaining an accurate inventory of uniforms and equipment
- Promoting the Saint’s basketball program
- Recruiting athletes
- Recording and publishing team results
- Developing the leadership of assistant coaches, and captains
- Serving as an example of faith based leadership while demanding appropriate conduct at all times from athletes.
Requirements include knowledge of and adherence to NAIA rules and regulations; a Bachelor's degree; demonstrated successful coaching experience in women's basketball.
