Campus Preview Days
Prospective students, parents and guests are cordially invited to our Campus Preview Days from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the following dates:
Friday, October 3, 2008
Friday, October 31, 2008
These events are a unique opportunity for prospective students and parents to take a close and intimate look at all that Holy Cross College has to offer. You can meet with students, faculty and representatives from the Offices of Admission, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, Athletics, Student Life, Residence Life, Student Activities, Campus Ministry, Career Development and more. Professors, current students, staff and administrators will be on hand throughout the day to answer your questions and provide guided tours of the campus. Visitors are also invited to have lunch in our Dining Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and attend the weekly student Mass in St. Joseph Chapel at 12:25 p.m.
Please contact Sherry Raven to let us know how many in your group will be attending. Last minute walk-ins are, of course, welcome.
Transferring from Holy Cross College to the University of Notre Dame
By virtue of our location adjacent to the University of Notre Dame, our common founding by the Congregation of Holy Cross and the transfer-intent nature of our associate of arts curriculum, we receive many inquiries from students interested in exploring the possibility of transferring to Notre Dame after completing the general education requirements at Holy Cross College. A significant number of our students are successful in transferring to Notre Dame each year and represent the largest group of transfer students at the University. It should be noted, however, that attending Holy Cross College does not guarantee transfer admission to Notre Dame. Merit-Based Scholarship Grants
Holy Cross College is committed to recognizing and rewarding new students who have demonstrated academic excellence, exceptional leadership skills and continuous service to others within their schools and communities. In keeping with this tradition, we are pleased to announce that several new merit-based scholarship grants have been established for first-time freshmen and transfers entering Holy Cross College in the Fall of 2008.
Individual awards range from $500 to $2,000 annually depending upon criteria and the qualifications of the student. Because these scholarships are merit-based grants, family financial need is not considered and amounts awarded do not have to be repaid. Read More.
