Blood Drive
A blood drive will be held on the Holy Cross College campus Tuesday, April 3, 2007. If you would like to participate, go to the Driscoll Lounge between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Whole Blood Donor Qualification Information:
You must: be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds, wait 56 days between donations, be in good general health, be symptom free for 72 hours after a cold or influenza, wait 24 hours after dental cleaning and 72 hours after tooth extractions or root canals.
You must not: have any open cuts or be pregnant.
Most people taking medications, even prescription medications, are accepted as blood donors. During the donor interview, the medications will be checked in the Medical Criteria Manual to ensure the safety of the donor’s and recipient’s health.
REMINDERS:
First time donors need a photo ID.
You need to eat a meal before donating blood and you should refrain from strenuous activity for 24 hours after donating blood.
