Holy Cross College Builds Its Admissions Team
Christina Tembo and Adam DeBeck have recently been admitted to the admissions staff and are excited to admit others to the HC community!
The office of admissions at Holy Cross College has taken on two new employees. Christina Tembo has been appointed associate director of admissions, and Adam DeBeck has been selected to become an admissions counselor.
Christina Tembo graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in business. For the past few years, Tembo has been working for the American Heart Association as the corporate events director. However, Tembo felt the need for a change. “I came to HC because I felt the need to be a part of a close-knit Catholic environment where my background in sales could be put to use changing the lives of young people.” The move also brings her closer to her family.
Adam DeBeck graduated from St. Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s degree in human resources. He was previously an admissions counselor at Brown Mackie College, but decided Holy Cross better suited him. “I went to St. Joseph’s, which was a small, liberal arts, Catholic college, and that is where I was happiest. I wanted to work in a similar environment.”
These two new members of the HC community started in early June. They plan to increase school enrollment and to be positive influences on campus. With staff like Tembo and DeBeck, Holy Cross should have no problem attracting students!
