Student Leadership Conference to be Held at Holy Cross College

Students from around the Midwest and Northeast who attend high schools conducted by the Brothers of Holy Cross will be coming to Holy Cross College June 27th to July 1st. The five-day event will focus on servant leadership and the tradition of the Congregation of Holy Cross.

Because of Holy Cross College’s history, heritage and location, student leaders from around the region will be gathering on campus this summer for the Holy Cross Student Leadership Conference.

This event has been held successfully for years at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, but that was too far to travel for many. So this year, for the first time, an additional conference is being held in the Midwest.

Student leaders from high schools conducted by the Brothers of Holy Cross are selected to attend the conference. The goal is to connect the students to the heritage of the Congregation of Holy Cross and to teach them how to lead through service, to lead by example and to carry this lesson with them throughout their lifetime.

Activities will include a day of service, a Holy Cross scavenger hunt, a special Mass to be celebrated with the Brothers and fellowship with the Brothers.
