Holy Cross College Makes Changes in Advancement Office
Holy Cross College’s advancement office changes location and takes on two new employees in the same month!
The Holy Cross College advancement office has experienced some serious changes in the past couple of weeks! The office has been moved to the other side of campus, and two new employees have been hired. Craig Horvath has taken the position of associate director of development, and Michelle Love is the new office manager.
Craig Horvath has a history with Holy Cross. He attended HC for one year before transferring to the University of Notre Dame. Horvath says he wants to work at HC for “a lot of reasons, primarily because if it hadn’t been for Holy Cross, I wouldn’t have been able to accomplish any of my lifelong dreams.” He has been highly influenced and is very grateful to Holy Cross, and loves that while it is a small college, it is growing every day. “I want to be able to give back and be a part of the school’s growth and success.”
Also new to the advancement office is the office manager, Michelle Love. Love moved to South Bend from Chicago five years ago to be closer to her church, and became an administrative assistant at Indiana University South Bend. This was not the best fit for Love, whose faith is an integral part of her life. Quoting Proverbs 3:6 — “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths” — Love says she decided it was time for a change, and applied for the advancement office manager position at Holy Cross, where there is a strong Christian atmosphere.
These changes in the advancement office are sure to lead to great things. The office is essential to the success of the College, and the addition of Horvath and Love gives the new fiscal year a great start!
