What is podcasting?
Think of a podcast as a syndicated radio show for which you don't need a radio, and you don't need to tune in at any particular time. You can listen on your computer or iPod, whenever it's convenient to you. Podcasting is a way of sharing sound files that lets you retrieve them automatically whenever there's a new "episode" available. Whenever we release a new podcast, it'll show up on your iPod or iTunes or similar audio player or computer program, ready for you to listen at your convenience.
So, to subscribe to a podcast you will need software that checks for and receives the podcast, and the website address of the podcast "feed".
