Special Consideration
Life is full of ups and downs. Should any student and/or family feel that the aid application is not representative of their current financial ability to fund their child's education, please feel free to submit a request for special consideration. General requirements for special consideration are below. Keep in mind that Holy Cross College is under no obligation to approve any requests for special consideration.
- Cover letter describing the circumstances surrounding your request.
- Supporting documentation, such as bills, pay stubs and third party correspondence.
- Any other documentation or information you feel is appropriate.
Circumstances that may prompt requests for special consideration may include, but are not limited to, loss of employment, significant change in income, extraordinary medical expenses, and elementary or secondary paroachial school tuition. Consumer debt is not considered a circumstance that warrants special consideration.
