Rudy Ruettiger Returns to Holy Cross College for Book Signing
NOTRE DAME, IN (October 30, 2007) — On Friday, November 2nd Rudy Ruettiger will be back at the college that helped him fulfill his dream of attending the University of Notre Dame.
Rudy is known from the self-titled movie starring Sean Astin that was released in 1993. He grew up in Joliet, IL and had big dreams of playing football for the University of Notre Dame. There were only a few problems: his grades were poor, his athletic ability was worse and he was about half the size of the other players. However, Rudy had the drive and spirit of ten people and overcame these obstacles to eventually make the team. His movie has inspired thousands, proving that dreams truly do come true.
From 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Rudy will be available in the Vincent Atrium on the campus of Holy Cross College autographing copies of his two books, Rudy’s Insights for Winning in Life and The Rudy in You, as well as the deluxe edition Rudy DVD. All of these items are available for purchase in the Holy Cross Bookstore.
