Holy Cross College Lacrosse Team Ranked #1 in MIAA Hosts College Tournament this Saturday

The Holy Cross College Lacrosse team is currently riding a 3 and 1 season with victories against Calvin College, University of Northwood, and Albion College. The team’s single loss came at the hands of Purdue University Lafayette by only two points. Holy Cross is ranked first in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) according to laxpower.com.
This weekend the Saints will be hosting their second annual lacrosse tournament. Participating teams include University of Northwood, Hope College, University of Pitt at Johnstown, Calvin College, and of course the home team. The tournament begins at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 26th. The public is invited to come out to support the Saints and experience the thrill of a full contact sport that the native American Mohawk tribe called the “little brother of war.”
