Solena Cruz ’24 is from South Bend, Indiana, and is majoring in business at Holy Cross College.

“I want to have a degree that is able to be utilized across various roles or industries,” notes Cruz on her decision to pursue business. “I would be interested in continuing my education in the business field by getting my MBA post-graduation.”

“The community at Holy Cross College was one of the main reasons I decided to attend. The teacher to student ratio, I believe, would benefit my education,” said Cruz.

“I am in charge of public relations for the Latinos Unidos club. I chose to be involved with this club because of its mission to involve every student in the Latino culture and to educate them about the various interests they may have,” said Cruz.

“The moment I believe that has impacted my life the most, would be the first time I touched a soccer ball. Playing soccer from the time when I was young has brought me to the very place I am today, Holy Cross College,” recalls Cruz. “I am currently on the women’s varsity soccer team, and if I had not touched a soccer ball or pursued soccer, I could say that my life would be different, and I would be different.”

“The future is always changing, my hope as of now is after graduation to continue my studies in a master’s program. Following my hope of finishing my masters, I plan to find a job that will challenge and surprise me each day,” said Cruz.
