Friday, Feb. 13

4–5:30 p.m.
Wine Tasting
To help us kick off Family Weekend, Capo Isetta Winery—operated by the family of a current Saint—brings the taste of Sonoma County, California, to Notre Dame, Indiana. Enjoy a sampling of their award-winning wines and assorted charcuterie. Students over the age of 21 are welcome to register and participate; non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

5–7 p.m.
Friday Dinner
$10 per person; no additional charge for students using their Holy Cross dining hall meal plan.
Location: Siegfried Dining Hall

7–8:30 p.m.
President’s Welcome Reception
Family Weekend officially begins at this complimentary reception. Enjoy conversation with faculty, staff, and College leadership. Light appetizers and an open bar serving wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026

9:30–10 a.m.
Coffee and Networking
Start your morning with coffee and conversation with Dr. Clark and the College Relations team.
Location: Ave Brew

10–10:45 a.m.
Academic Excellence Showcase
Choose one of three interactive classroom experiences with some of our most influential faculty. This session offers a behind-the-scenes look at the faculty who shape your student’s experience. Families are welcome to divide into smaller groups to participate.
Location: Vincent classrooms

10:45 a.m.–12 p.m.
Color the Cross: Community Painting
One of the most popular sessions from Family Weekend 2025 returns. All are invited to help create a one-of-a-kind work of art to commemorate Family Weekend. No skill required, and all ages are welcome.

10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Saturday Brunch
Join faculty and staff for a complimentary brunch.
Location: Siegfried Dining Hall

12–1 p.m.
Tour of the New Residence Hall
The Holy Cross Way informs every part of the student experience. Tour the newest residence hall (opening fall 2026) to see the future of Holy Cross residence life, including views of Notre Dame and the Saints Athletic Field, a new chapel, open study and gathering spaces, and intentional community-building design.

1–5 p.m.
Family Fest at the Pfeil Center
Cheer on the Saints basketball teams as they take on Indiana Northwest. Explore the Golf Simulator, Saints’ Coffee Corner, and a Makers Market in the Pfeil Center during the games.

Men’s Basketball vs. Indiana Northwest: tipoff at 1 p.m.

Women’s Basketball vs. Indiana Northwest (Senior Day): tipoff at 3 p.m.

4:30–5:30 p.m.
Family Weekend Mass
Celebrate Family Weekend with Mass honoring our Holy Cross College families. All faiths are welcome.
Location: St. Joseph Chapel

5–7 p.m.
Saturday Dinner Available
$10 per person; no additional charge for students using their Holy Cross dining hall meal plan.
Location: Siegfried Dining Hall

6–9 p.m.
Dinner Detective
Experience the ultimate Family Weekend evening with The Dinner Detective at the Aloft Hotel in downtown South Bend. For $20 per person, enjoy a full dinner buffet, a cash bar, and a hilarious, interactive murder mystery where anyone could be the culprit. Families are invited to team up, test their detective skills, and make unforgettable memories together.

Sunday, Feb. 15

10 a.m.–1 p.m.
Sunday Farewell Brunch
$10 per person; no additional charge for students using their Holy Cross dining hall meal plan.
Location: Siegfried Dining Hall

1–2:30 p.m.
St. Margaret’s House Winter Walk
Join the South Bend community as we “walk a mile in her shoes” in support of St. Margaret’s House, a women’s and children’s day center. This year’s theme is Under Construction. The walk begins at South Bend City Church in downtown South Bend. Following the one-mile walk, participants are invited to enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, live music, and tours of St. Margaret’s House.
