Dr. Elaine Mokrzan spent more than 20 years doing research in mammalian cell biology and microbiology before teaching at Holy Cross College. As a result, she has a broad background in biology that enables her to teach a variety of courses such as Microbiology, Physiology, and Genetics. She loves sharing her passion for the living world with students and helping them develop into the next generation of science professionals.

Because of her years in research, she brings a wide background of knowledge, skills, and years of experience mentoring students at the bench. Now as an educator, she enjoys sharing her passion for biology with tomorrow’s scientists, medical professionals, and with all students who seek a further understanding of our living world.
