Meet Dr. Sherbert
Dr. Kyle Sherbert joined the faculty of Holy Cross College in the Fall of 2025, when he was also appointed Academic Director of the Computer Science Program. He looks forward to nurturing the computer science program as it grows into a visible force for good in South Bend and the surrounding region.
Dr. Sherbert has made numerous contributions to the field of quantum computing, especially in the area of variational quantum algorithms, where he researches compact and efficient strategies to simulate physics and chemistry.
