This July 21-25, Holy Cross College will participate in Private College Week. This week consists of Indiana's 31 private, non-profit colleges and universities inviting students, parents, and all others interested to come and experience campuses through tours and informational sessions. Start planning campus visits, put your tour schedule together, and find out how to let the campuses know you are coming. For a complete list of participating campuses, as well as information about the tour and event schedules at each, visit Private College Week at the Independent Colleges of Indiana website: www.icindiana.org.
Sign up for your visit to Holy Cross today! We look forward to seeing you soon!
You wouldn't buy a new pair of jeans without trying them on first, right? Think of your college search in the same way. We invite you to "try us on" for a day during one of our unique Shadow Day visits. See for yourself if Holy Cross College is the right fit for you! During your visit, you will attend class with a current student, tour campus, meet faculty and staff, enjoy lunch in our dining room, and much more! There are also information sessions regarding financial aid and application processes for your parents.
If our structured presentations and tours do not fit into your schedule, you may request a personalized meeting with an admission counselor, a financial aid officer, and a tour of campus on a day and time that you choose. Visits last approximately 90 minutes may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 AM until 4 PM. Please complete our Visit Form to schedule a campus visit indicating the date and arrival time that works best for you. You may also schedule a visit by calling us at 574-239-8400.
Visitors may enjoy complimentary lunch in our Dining Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and attend the daily student Mass in St. Joseph Chapel.
If you would like to speak to a specific professor, or are interested in meeting with representatives of specific programs such as Athletics, Campus Ministry, Career Development, Global Perspectives, Notre Dame Marching Band or ROTC, please make your request ahead of time so that we can try to accommodate you.
While a weekday visit is the best way to see the campus in action, we understand that Saturday might be the only day available in your busy schedule. We offer Saturday visits on select weekends, including Notre Dame Football Saturdays. These visits start with an Admissions presentation at 10:30 AM (EST) followed by an 11:00 AM campus tour.
Please let us know you are coming by completing our Visit Form and indicating which Saturday you plan to attend.
Almost 50% of our students are from out of state. If you are not from the local area, here are some links to help you plan a successful visit to Holy Cross.
Click here for directions to campus. Google maps allows you to "search nearby" for hotel accommodations, restaurants, and attractions. If you are making hotel reservations, be sure to let them know that you are visiting Holy Cross College, and ask if they have a special visit rate.
