The Cross & Anchor Summit is a one-week, pre-college program that provides two sessions of 40 high school students each year the opportunity to:
- Live on a college campus—and benefit from the peer mentorship of select Holy Cross College students
- Participate in lively seminar discussions that are rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition and guided by faculty from Holy Cross College and the University of Notre Dame
- Explore community organizations related to business, education, sports, and visual arts
- Share community-building experiences with students from Indiana
In 2023, there will be two sessions of the Cross & Anchor Summit. Session I will be offered June 18-23 and Session II will be offered June 25-30.
Cross & Anchor Summit participants follow the same track that enables them to investigate how virtuous leaders are formed and practice in a variety of disciplines including:
- Business
- Education
- Sports
- Visual Arts
Throughout the week, you will explore the Summit’s fundamental question: What are the tenets that virtuous leaders practice and how can I become a virtuous leader myself?
The full Cross & Anchor Summit week-long experience is free for all attendees. This includes:
- Classroom materials
- Accommodations in a campus residence hall for five nights
- Meals
Currently, the Summit is only open to students in the state of Indiana.
