Holy Cross College will welcome Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend as the featured speaker for the Spring Mind & Heart Lecture on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in St. Joseph Chapel.
Bishop Rhoades will present, “Addressing the Plight of Migrants and Refugees with the Mind and Heart of Christ,” offering a Catholic Social Teaching framework for viewing immigration issues and policies through the lens of faith, human dignity, and the Gospel call to compassion.
The Mind and Heart Lecture Series invites the Holy Cross College community to reflect on timely issues.
Bishop Rhoades visited and dined with the College’s students last year, encouraging them to lean into the friendships created on campus.
He was elected in 2025 as the Secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
