Family Weekend is one of Holy Cross College’s most anticipated traditions, a time when campus fills with conversation, laughter, and the people who know our students best. From Feb. 13-15, families are invited to experience the rhythm of life at Holy Cross through shared meals, meaningful conversations, faith, learning, and celebration.

The weekend begins Friday with a relaxed welcome, including a wine tasting hosted by Capo Isetta Winery and a casual dinner on campus, followed by the President’s Welcome Reception in the Vincent Atrium. It’s an opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, and College leadership while setting the tone for a weekend rooted in hospitality and community.

Saturday offers a full day of engagement. Families can step inside the classroom during the Academic Excellence Showcase, take part in the beloved Color the Cross community art experience, and gather for brunch with faculty and staff. Highlights include a guided tour of the new residence hall—opening fall 2026—and an afternoon Family Fest at the Pfeil Center featuring Saints basketball, interactive activities, and time together on campus. The day concludes with Family Weekend Mass in St. Joseph Chapel and an optional evening of laughter and mystery at Aloft Hotel – Downtown South Bend.

The weekend wraps up Sunday with a farewell brunch and an invitation to join the broader South Bend community for the St. Margaret’s House Winter Walk, supporting St. Margaret’s House and its mission of accompaniment and care.

Family Weekend is more than a schedule of events—it’s a chance to see the Holy Cross Way in action and to celebrate the relationships that shape our students’ journeys. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus for another memorable weekend together.
