One of the most beloved traditions at Holy Cross College is when faculty, staff, and students share reflections during the Advent and Lenten seasons.

The 2026 Lenten season kicked off Feb. 18 on Ash Wednesday and Father Michael DeLaney, C.S.C., has offered the first reflection for the community. The theme for this year’s campaign is, “Ashes to Alleluia: Lent as the shape of the Christian Life.”

There will be two reflections shared throughout each week of Lent as the community builds toward Easter Sunday. Make sure you bookmark the page and share it with your friends and family as you seek to go deeper into Lent.
