The Holy Cross College Student Government Association’s Social Concerns Committee is proud to continue our annual partnership with St. Vincent de Paul to provide Thanksgiving Food Baskets for Michiana families in need.
This year, we’ve committed to providing 50 baskets—bringing the joy of Thanksgiving to 50 local families. With your help, we can make this season brighter for those who need it most.
When making your gift, please select “Thanksgiving Food Baskets” from the dropdown menu on the giving page to ensure your donation supports this effort.
Disclaimer: Any additional funds raised will support the ongoing mission and outreach activities of the Social Concerns Committee.
Basket delivery will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
We would love to have you join us as we deliver food baskets to local families. Please contact Carolyn Kitz at [email protected] for more information.
For more than 20 years, the Holy Cross community has come together to ensure that families in the South Bend area can share a Thanksgiving meal filled with warmth and gratitude. Partnering with Martin’s Super Markets at Heritage Square, we are able to fill each basket with a generous assortment of traditional holiday foods—everything needed for a memorable Thanksgiving celebration.
This cherished tradition reflects our college’s ongoing commitment to faith, service, and community, reminding us all of the importance of giving thanks by giving back.
