Distinctly Catholic. Open to All.

At Holy Cross College, we are serious about our Catholic mission. We exist to educate mind, body and spirit. For Catholics, faith cannot be a part-time activity. To be authentic, it must permeate every aspect of our college and every fiber of our being.

We must be passionate.

As Catholics, we believe doctrines and creeds are important, but most important is a relationship with Jesus Christ, the “King of all Nations” and “Light of the World.” Scripture holds pride of place as the written portion of Sacred Tradition. Sacraments engage our bodies as touchstones for God’s love. Liturgy, personal prayer and devotions are wellsprings of grace. A community of love and support is the context within which our faith blossoms.

We respect the dignity of every human person, regardless of race, creed or social status. All are welcome – those who share our faith and those who do not. You are most warmly invited to come join with us and take advantage of this remarkable opportunity to grow in your faith within a supportive and welcoming community.

At Holy Cross, there are many ways to grow closer to God. Many of our students attend Mass every day during the lunch hour. Our Sunday night student Mass is a tradition. We offer classes to prepare students for First Communion, Confirmation and to be received into the Catholic Church. We offer weekly Eucharistic Adoration and Reconciliation. We go on retreats together and have ongoing projects of service to others. We offer the opportunity to assist in liturgical ministries including liturgical choir. We also have a program of faith formation, our campus Mission Team, which challenges students to go even deeper. Please come, get involved, and watch how your life can change for the better.
