Politics and Public Service

Why Study Politics at Holy Cross?

Authentic democracy is possible only in a state ruled by law, and on the basis of a correct conception of the human person.

- St. John Paul II

As a student of Politics & Public Service a Holy Cross College, you will take up St. John Paul II’s call to anchor politics in the truth of the human person. Aided by philosophers and political leaders of the past and present, you will reflect seriously on the moral and legal foundations of a just society.
