Holy Cross College continues its Leading the Holy Cross Way executive series this Friday, October 17, with a session titled “Purpose-Driven Leadership” featuring Kevin Schmiegel, Chief Executive Officer of ZeroMils and a retired Marine Corps lieutenant colonel.

A mission-driven leader with a proven record of scaling organizations and delivering measurable impact, Schmiegel has dedicated his career to strengthening communities and bridging the civilian–service divide. He founded Hiring Our Heroes at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and went on to serve as CEO of two national nonprofits, raising more than $100 million to advance causes that have improved the lives of millions of Americans, both in and out of uniform.

Based in Washington, D.C., Schmiegel is recognized for his ability to build purpose-centered teams and create sustainable partnerships across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. He is a proud husband to Laura and father of five.

The Leading the Holy Cross Way series, hosted by President Marco J. Clark, Ed.D., invites accomplished professionals to share lessons in leadership rooted in mission, values, and action.
