Holy Cross College has unveiled two new wines, thoughtfully crafted in partnership with Capo Isetta, a family-owned winery of Sonoma, California. The Capo Isetta x Holy Cross Cabernet Sauvignon and Capo Isetta x Holy Cross Chardonnay are offered as expressions of shared values rather than simple labels, reflecting a mutual commitment to hospitality, relationship, and the formation of students grounded in faith and purpose.
That alignment made the collaboration feel natural from the beginning. For Capo Isetta, wine has always been about gathering people, telling stories, and creating spaces where others feel genuinely welcome. Those principles mirror the Holy Cross ethos, where intentional hospitality and care for the whole person shape the student experience.
The partnership is also deeply personal for Stacey Isetta, a parent of one Holy Cross College graduate and one current student. Through her family’s connection to the College, she recognized how naturally the missions aligned.
“It was an easy yes, not just as a business proposition, but because we’re so aligned in values,” Isetta said. “The wine is really all about the story. It lends itself to what’s already happening at Holy Cross and to what we enjoy in life, which is hospitality, gathering people, and making them feel welcome. To be partnered in that is just awesome.”
Rooted in generations of winemaking in Sonoma, the Isetta family has long viewed wine as an expression of community rather than a commodity. That philosophy carries through this collaboration, which serves as a tangible extension of Holy Cross’s emphasis on intentional hospitality and relationship-driven education.
More than a celebratory offering, the wines support the College’s mission in a direct way. A portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold benefits Holy Cross College, helping expand access to an education grounded in faith, tradition, and purpose.
